JACKSON, MI — The day his jury trial was to begin in Jackson, 26-year-old Eiron Bankhead decided Monday to plead guilty to second-degree murder for the death of a man outside a Jackson Autozone store.
Bankhead shot Kordell Brzozowski five times from behind. The victim died at a hospital. The two had been arguing before the May 2019 shooting.
A date for Bankhead’s sentencing will be set later this week.
