LUDINGTON, MI — It’s another sign of the times. The SS Badger, a coal-fired passenger ship on Lake Michigan, is dropping its coal. The company that runs the Badger says they are switching to another fuel source but hasn’t announced what it will be.
The SS Badger runs daily trips each summer between Ludington, Mich., and Manitowoc, Wisc.
