LANSING, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Oct. 16, 2023) – The state’s top proponent for travel and tourism is stepping down.
Dave Lorenz announced on Friday his intention to retire at year’s end as Vice President of Travel Michigan. Under his more-than-two-decade tutelage of this arm of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, the successful Pure Michigan campaign helped make this state more of a destination location.
Lorenz made this observation to Dan Evans on “WHTC Morning News” prior to the retirement announcement.
No successor was immediately announced.
