LANSING, MI — The Lansing School District will celebrate the opening of a newly renovated running track at the Hill Center in a ceremony scheduled at 1:30 p.m., today.
The Hill Center, 5815 Wise Road in Lansing, is the home of Lansing Technical High School, the Lansing School District’s Career and Technical Education Programs, the Alfreda Schmidt
Community Center and other community and city organizations. Today’s event will occur on the track located behind the Hill Center.
“This new track at Hill is a great example of our school district and the Lansing community working together to support a very important project,” said
Ben Shuldiner, Lansing schools superintendent. “The track is a great public asset and will be used and appreciated by many families in south side neighborhoods in Lansing.”
