RICHLAND, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Gull Lake High School football team is under a Michigan State Police investigation.
Members of the Blue Devils squad are accused of assault at a football camp in June in Oceana County.
The team’s head coach, Jalon Simpson, has been put on paid, non-disciplinary administrative leave during the investigation.
Simpson says he hopes the investigation is closed soon, “lessons are learned, justice is served,” and he is looking forward to returning to the team.
