LANSING, MI — U.S. 127 will soon be inaccessible to westbound drivers on I-69. Beginning Monday, Sept. 14, state highway officials say all ramps from westbound I-69 to both northbound and southbound U.S. 127 will be closed.
MDOT says crews plan to commence concrete patching on those ramps from Sept. 14 to Oct. 16. In addition, there will be lane closures on I-69 in that area for the next month.
This comes at a time when lane closures continue on U.S. 127 as crews rebuild the sounthboud lanes from I-69 down to Lake Lansing Road in Lansing. That project is part of an ongoing rebuild of the freeway. The project will not be completed until the fall of 2028.
