Lansing Junior Roller Derby announces boot camp for new skaters. Kids 7-17 years olds of all genders, backgrounds, and abilities are welcome - No skating skills required.
Lansing Junior Roller Derby (LJRD) is offering their first basic skills boot camp training program to kids interested in learning the sport of roller derby.
The first orientation is on Sunday, February 19th, at Court One Training Center, 7868 Old M-78 in East Lansing, from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, when interested persons can also be fitted for loaner gear.
The second orientation will be held virtually from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm on Wednesday, February 15th, and the link will be posted on our Facebook page.
The eight-week boot camp program begins Sunday, March 26th from 5-7pm.
The fee to participate is $80 due on the first day of boot camp. Loaner equipment is available, but please bring a mouth guard.
