HOLT, MI — It was not a good start to the New Year for Rocky’s Roadhouse on Cedar Street in Holt. Ingham County Sheriff’s Deputies executed a search warrant at the bar and grill on Jan. 3 after receiving tips the establishment was operating an illegal gambling operation.
The media release from the sheriff’s department says police started receiving tips from the public in Oct. 2023, which resulted in a months long investigation.
During the raid on Rocky’s earlier this week police say they seized multiple gaming machines and additional items as evidence.
Investigators from the Delhi Township Fire Department also responded and condemned the building for multiple fire code violations. The business remains closed, police say.
