LANSING, MI — Panda Express hopes to leave its current location in Meridian Mall for a new stand-alone building across Marsh Road. The fast-casual restaurant hopes to build on the site where Wheat Jewelers currently sits. The property has been listed for sale at $1.7 million, according to a report from Yahoo Business.
Panda Restaurant Group is asking Meridian Township for a special use permit to build a drive-thru restaurant on the site at 4990 Marsh Road. The township’s planning commission will here the special request at its meeting later this month.
The restaurant chain recently opened a new location in Lansing Township at the Eastwood Towne Center on Lake Lansing Road.
