LANSING, MI — Downtown Lansing Inc. (DLI) celebrated the businesses, volunteers, and community members who make a positive impact on Michigan’s Downtown during its annual Evening of Excellence, held at Jackson Field earlier this month.
According to a press release, new and established businesses, community volunteers, artists and advocates were celebrated. The honorees share a “commitment to make Lansing not just a place, but a destination.”
This year’s Evening of Excellence award recipients included:

Artist of the Year: Haylie Klusack
Organization Committee Volunteer of the Year: Alex Rusek
Promotions Committee Volunteer of the Year: Josh Watson
Business Development Committee Volunteer of the Year: Alex Watkins
Design & Public Spaces Committee Volunteer of the Year: Rachel Beatty
DLI Volunteer of the Year: Chioma Lewis
